God can never associate Himself with sin because He is holy. Holiness can never be involved with SIN. Think about this, if you were wearing a white shirt with white pants, white socks, and white shoes, will you ever walk on muddy ground? Will you ever touch something that’s dirty? I know I wouldn't especially if I’m going to a party! Well, God is perfect and holy and it’s in His nature to never associate Himself with sin. That’s why you can see God’s wrath against it because someone who’s ultimately holy absolutely abhors sin. However, it is also explained in the Bible that God too is loving and merciful. He also unceasingly pursues us sinners to be reunited with Him, for us to acknowledge that He is Lord over our lives, and enjoy a life with His presence once again. I’m currently reading the Old Testament and I’m in the part where God is explaining to Moses how to set up the tabernacle.
