How Have You Been?
Oh thanks for asking. You might’ve gotten worried about me
because I haven’t written about anything for almost a year now. No need to
worry, I’m still alive. Actually I’ve been wonderful. Lot’s have happened in my
life for the past year. Let me give you an update.
1. I'm now engaged.
Oh yes! You know the girl that I write about in most of my
blogs? I’m now engaged to her. We are happily planning for our wedding
happening in a year. We still need to save up for our dream wedding to push
through. I can write tons about how our relationship grew and became more God
centered. Surely I will share everything we learned in my upcoming entries. We’ve
been through a lot of trials and challenges but God has surely blessed us with
more wisdom, love, peace and joy. I did an awesome job proposing to her too!
2. My eldest brother got married
He got married and the wedding was
amazing. We did this dance for the reception and I discovered that I was
completely hopeless. I will stick to my PMDAS dance for the rest of my life.
Anyway, it’s amazing to see two people commit themselves to one another. We
were able to spend time with friends and family during the wedding and that made it
extra wonderful. My fiancé and I will try our best to have a better wedding
than them. Just kidding.
3. I am currently suffering from a concussion
By the way I still work in a warehouse. I was unloading a
truck last week and suddenly a heavy box fell on my head. I paused for 2
minutes and wanted to cry. It was awful. I woke up the next day having severe
headaches and dizziness. Apparently, the fall was intense that my brain was
shaken. I’m recovering now though and the doctor said I’m going to be all
right.
It’s funny how God answers prayers sometimes. I continuously
pray for a renewed mind everyday and the concussion literally renewed my mind.
Lot’s have happened and I was always too tired from my warehouse
work to write about what God’s been teaching me. I don’t blame my job for the writing leave because nothing can take away expressing love for God. One thing’s for sure, the writing could’ve stopped, but
the blessings and growth didn’t. Despite the weariness I’ve been having, I just would like
to share that amazing things are still happening.
Blessings from God don’t stop even though you’re in a tough
environment. All you need to do is open your eyes and appreciate them J
