NEW YEAR's RESOLUTIONS
Let’s talk about New Year resolutions. 
People always make RESOLUTIONS every new New Year
symbolizing their desire to be better, to change, or to break a habit.


One famous resolution I know is the “I WILL LOSE WEIGHT” resolution.
We think of exercising, dieting, eating healthy...
BUT somehow we forget or lose determination after a week, don't we?


HOW WAS YOUR 2011?
Raise your hand up if your 2011 was full of challenges and trials!
Emotionally, Financially, Spiritually, Mentally, Physically...
I’m raising mine. Everyone should -- we've all experienced some kind
of difficulty/pain/bitterness/anger/hatred/discouragement
during the past year..


These past experiences may be the VERY REASONS why
you've come up with your own NEW YEAR's RESOLUTION.
Others may have their "DO's and DONT's" list,
Others may have their own BUCKET LIST, and 
whatever list of things to make 2012 all different,
and BETTER.


THIS 2012...
You will STILL encounter problems/difficulties/trials/etc.
They're all a part of life. No matter how hard YOU try to
solve things on YOUR OWN, no matter how long your 
RESOLUTION LIST may be, you will still end up unhappy,
dissatisfied, lonely, incomplete.

Ever wonder why no human being is problem free?
It's because these very problems mold us to become
the person God intended us to become.


2012 - NEW VIEW, NEW YOU
So this 2012, instead of coming up with
NEW YEAR's RESOLUTIONS -- that WE TRY to accomplish ourselves,
why not try
NEW YEAR GOD's SOLUTIONS -- allowing HIM to make all the
changes in our lives not only for the 'better', but for the BEST. 


HOW?
We need to learn to place our who life in HIS hands and
allow HIM to use us for HIS glory.

Although problems exist, it is a way for us to
DEPEND SOLELY ON GOD, and not on our own strength.
In our weakness, we realize that we are nothing w/o God.
It's God alone who is mighty to OVERCOME all odds, 
fear, pain, struggle, animosity, discouragement, PRIDE,
bitterness, selfishness in our lives. 


The only LIFE WORTH LIVING is a life of DEPENDENCE ON GOD.
However, total DEPENDENCE on GOD doesn't mean we'll be w/o
problems completely. It means that when we depend on HIM
alone, we find the peace, joy, strength, comfort we've
been searching for (with or w/o problems).




HOW DEPENDENT DOES GOD WANT US TO BE?
Think of a 3yr old boy. A 3yr old boy, innocent and fragile,
in need of both mommy and daddy for guidance, for
provision, protection, love. 
That little boy could never survive on his own.
He will always be dependent on his parents.
God wants us to be like this child,
a dependent child who will always go to Him.

“I tell you the truth, unless you change and
become like little children, you will never enter
the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 18-3


Life will be full of problems but it’s your CHOICE to be
JOYFUL and CONTENTED amidst of them.
In life, God is asking from us to be like a child
who depends on Him with everything. 


WHEN FACED W/ A PROBLEM Talk to God..
“Lord I may not believe in myself but I believe in You,
I know You will make a way for me for YOU ARE IN CONTROL, and
you have my best interest at heart.”
Guys I promise you God works in mysterious ways,
HE WILL FIND THE PERFECT SOLUTION IN EVERYTHING BECAUSE HE LOVES US.


Always remember God doesn’t give you a problem you
can’t handle. He knows your capabilities and your heart;
you just have to believe in Him. “Lord I know you gave
me this problem for a reason and I will get through this with You”


“I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13

God is an ultimate infinite source of strength.
Draw your strength from Him and you’ll accomplish anything.
No problem is bigger than my God.


Make sure that your resolution this year is your dependence on God.
Let it be the NEW YOU! 


Always have this in mind, “True greatness is dependence on God”
Have a Happy New YOU ☺

How Have You Been?

Oh thanks for asking. You might’ve gotten worried about me because I haven’t written about anything for almost a year now. No need to worry, I’m still alive. Actually I’ve been wonderful. Lot’s have happened in my life for the past year. Let me give you an update. 1. I'm now engaged. Oh yes! You know the girl that I write about in most of my blogs? I’m now engaged to her. We are happily planning for our wedding happening in a year. We still need to save up for our dream wedding to push through. I can write tons about how our relationship grew and became more God centered. Surely I will share everything we learned in my upcoming entries. I worked for some time in a coffee shop. On my first day behind the cash register, my boss just told me to do two things, “say thank you and SMILE” I’m good in following orders so that’s what I did throughout my shift. At the end of my shift my boss told me that people felt good because of my smile! According to them it was warm and welcoming. Since then I would always smile when faced with a customer. To smile is the simplest yet amazing thing you could do. Actually it’s one of the best things you could do for people as well. Smiling at them will make them feel good.
