Smile


I worked for some time in a coffee shop. On my first day behind the cash register, my boss just told me to do two things, “say thank you and SMILE” I’m good in following orders so that’s what I did throughout my shift. At the end of my shift my boss told me that people felt good because of my smile! According to them it was warm and welcoming. Since then I would always smile when faced with a customer.

To smile is the simplest yet amazing thing you could do. Actually it’s one of the best things you could do for people as well. Smiling at them will make them feel good. It could make a stranger's day. It’s free and it feels good.

What are your reasons to smile? I’ve come up with a list on reasons for me to smile right now.


  • Knowing that my favorite hero “Wolverine” is Canadian
  • Knowing that the movie “The Avengers” is almost out
  • Knowing that I’ll be reunited with my family again
  • Knowing that I have awesome friends all around the planet
  • Just thinking of how wonderfully amazingly beautifully perfect my girlfriend/future wife is

And here’s the last and top reason for me to smile.

  • GOD’S LOVE.
God’s love is unchangeable. No matter what you do with your life the love of God for you won’t change.  You might ask, I’m a sinner doesn’t God hate sin? Yes, He hates sin because it destroys our lives. Where has sin taken you? Did sin take you to a better place? All sin whether small or big would lead you to destruction. That’s why God hates it and that’s why He saved us :)

“For God so loved the WORLD that He gave us His Son that whoever believes in Him would never perish but would have eternal life” John 3:16

Did it say for God so loved the “good people”? Did it say for God so loved the "righteous people"? NO. God so loved the WORLD. The WORLD includes all sinners, you and me and God saved us not because of who we are but because of who He is. He saved us because His love is amazingly unchangeable.

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”(Romans 8:38-39)

It is enough reason for us to smile having knowledge of the amazing love God has for us. I challenge everyone to smile right now knowing that the God of the heavens and the earth will always love you no matter what you do. Accept His love and live lives with a smile. Live knowing that your God is the best. SMILE and let the whole world know why :)

God’s love is amazing but don’t ever play with it. Never sacrifice something amazing for a little sin because it would lead to nothing. I heard this before and it’s a wonderful reminder for everyone, “Never sacrifice the ultimate with the alter of the immediate” Have that in mind and continue on smiling :)

How Have You Been?

Oh thanks for asking. You might’ve gotten worried about me because I haven’t written about anything for almost a year now. No need to worry, I’m still alive. Actually I’ve been wonderful. Lot’s have happened in my life for the past year. Let me give you an update. 1. I'm now engaged. Oh yes! You know the girl that I write about in most of my blogs? I’m now engaged to her. We are happily planning for our wedding happening in a year. We still need to save up for our dream wedding to push through.
